Is it down to the danger, the volatile?

I've made my way down so many forked roads.

New questions came to light.
Am I alright?

I've seen colours divine,
But tonight my reflection is black and white.

Now I'm pushing forth despite inner discord.
Through fickle thoughts and satin laced dreams.

I've wasted too much time just dealing with the hurt in my life.

Tomorrow it'll find everything inside of a burning light.
Truth will find you,
Tear you in two.
Rip a hole into your lies.
Corruptions in your veins.
Your game that no one wants to play.
Fleeting nightmares when you're awake.
Because you have a price to pay.
Now your conscience has caught up with you.
But what of those that you've beaten for new?
Stronger for what you have done,
Not scared of burning in the sun.
As for you fear is all that you have,

Divide the lies from the truth,
This life is passing by.
Is this the reason that I live a sheltered life?
Gut wrenching thoughts of regret will form my only strife.
But am I safe in the end,
With deluded eyes?
Irrational and on my own,
Is this where the fearful go?
Paralyzed, I lost myself inside.
So tonight I will cry,
Follow me.
Where have I gone?
They're asking me.
Inside my head is where I'll be.
Safe in my words,
This reverie.
It's what is real I fail to see.
So tragedy is the cause,
My head is telling lies.
